Q&A
A: There's no strict weight limit, but it’s best if participants are within a healthy weight range for safety reasons. The instructors can help tailor the experience based on your group's size and ability. If you're concerned, just give Gone Surfing Hawaii a call to discuss any specifics!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit! You’ll get wet, so it's best to be in something comfortable. They provide rash guards too, which help with sun protection and prevent chafing. Just make sure to apply sunscreen beforehand, especially if you’re fair-skinned.
A: Yes, rescheduling is definitely possible if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Gone Surfing Hawaii will prioritize safety and will reach out to you if conditions aren't optimal. Just be sure to check your email or phone for updates and have a flexible schedule if you can!

Thinking of gifting a surfing lesson in Honolulu, any tips?
So, I’m looking to gift my boyfriend a 1.5-hour semi-private surfing lesson in Honolulu with Gone Surfing Hawaii. He’s never surfed before, so I’m a bit nervous about how he’ll do. What’s the vibe like? Also, how easy is it to book? Any tips for a first-timer?
Just did the semi-private surfing lesson, here’s my review!
OMG, we just finished the 1.5-hour surfing lesson at Waikīkī and it was absolutely amazing! The instructors were so friendly and patient. We had a small group of 4, which meant lots of individual attention. I caught a few waves and felt like a pro! Plus, the views are to die for. Totally recommend this as a gift or just for yourself!
