Q&A
A: Kids aged 12 and up can participate in the Segway tour, but they need to weigh at least 100 pounds to ride safely. It's a great experience for families, just make sure they’re comfortable on the Segway! If you have younger kids, maybe consider another type of tour instead.
A: Comfort is key! Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little windy in. Avoid loose clothing that might get caught in the Segway. Also, if it's sunny, bring sunglasses and sunscreen since you’ll be outside for the hour.
A: If the weather looks bad, they typically call and reschedule ahead of time. Just make sure to check your email or phone for any updates. They want you to have the best experience, so they won’t go out in really bad conditions. You can also reschedule for another day if needed!

Thinking about gifting the Boston Segway Tour! Worth it?
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the 1-hour Segway tour in Boston for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves history and exploring. I saw they go along the Freedom Trail and hit some cool spots like Faneuil Hall and Old North Church. Does anyone have experiences with this? Is it really fun? And how's the learning curve for newbies?
Just did the Boston Segway Tour—what a ride!
I recently went on the 1-hour Segway tour and it was epic! Starting at 199 State Street was convenient, and the tour guide was fantastic. We cruised around the city, saw the Zakim Bridge, and learned about the Big Dig! It was a bit breezy, but so much fun. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Boston or looking for a fun gift!
