I’m looking to surprise my husband with a fly fishing clinic for his birthday. The 1-hour casting clinic at Glacier Raft Company sounds perfect! I love that they provide the rods and flies. But I’m unsure if he’ll feel comfortable as he’s never tried fly fishing before. Any tips on whether this is good for beginners?
Just did the casting clinic and it was amazing!
So I just got back from the casting clinic in West Glacier with Glacier Raft Company, and wow! The instructor was awesome and super patient. I learned the basics of casting, and even got to tie a couple of flies. It's a great hands-on experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get started in fly fishing!
