Q&A
A: Great question! Barton's usually allows kids as young as 12 to ride e-bikes, but they need to be accompanied by an adult. Just make sure your kiddo is comfortable riding a bike first! They’ll have a blast cruising around Austin.
A: If you decide to keep the bike longer than the initial hour, they pro-rate it to the nearest 5 minutes! So, if you use it for 1 hour and 20 mins, it’s just a small extra charge. After 3 hours, you don’t get charged anymore, which is awesome for a full day of fun!
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes! A light jacket is handy as it can get breezy. As for rain, if it’s light, you can still ride but be cautious. They usually have a no-ride policy during heavy rain for safety reasons.

Thinking about gifting the e-bike rental in Austin! Anyone tried it?
Hey all! I’m considering getting the 1-hour e-bike rental for my partner’s birthday. We’re visiting Austin soon, and it sounds like a fun way to explore. I heard you get a map and a helmet included, which is cool. How was your experience? Any must-see spots you recommend?
E-bike rental in Austin: Worth it for couples?
Just wanted to ask if this e-bike rental is good for couples? My partner and I are thinking about it for a date day. How difficult is it to ride the e-bikes? I’m not an avid cyclist but I want to give it a shot!
