Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but typically, riders need to be at least 12 years old to ride as a passenger and 16 to drive their own snowmobile. It’s best to check with Rods Alaskan Guide Service for any specific requirements though!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Rods Alaskan Guide Service will reach out to you to reschedule. They prioritize safety, so it's great that they have flexible rescheduling options!
A: The provided snow suits are pretty warm, but I’d recommend wearing thermal layers underneath for added warmth. Depending on how cold it is that day, you might also want to bring your own gloves or a hat just in case!

Just did the snowmobile adventure! Here’s my experience!
Hey everyone! I recently took the 1 Hour Fairbanks Guided Snowmobile Adventure and it was incredible! We zipped through the snowy forests and saw moose, which was such a highlight. The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all well-prepared with heated helmets and warm gear. It was a bit chilly, but totally worth it! I’m thinking about gifting this experience to my brother for his birthday. Anyone else tried it?
Considering the snowmobile tour as a gift for my dad!
Hey! I’m looking to gift my dad the snowmobile adventure in Fairbanks. He’s in his 50s but super active. Do you think he’d love it? Also, what’s the best time of year to go? I want him to have the best experience possible!
