Q&A
A: If the weather looks bad, the cruise can be rescheduled if the minimum passenger requirement isn't met. Just reach out to the provider ahead of time to check availability for new dates. You'll want to keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches, too!
A: There’s no strict age limit for the cruise, but keep in mind that kids will need to wear life vests at all times. It’s a fun experience for families, but just double-check with the provider if you have little ones so you can be prepared!
A: Definitely keep it casual! You’ll be on a boat, so comfy clothes and swimwear work best. Just remember to bring a hat and sunscreen for those sunny days. If you plan on hitting Ski Shores for a cocktail afterward, you might want to throw on a nice cover-up or change into some shorts.

Thinking about booking the Lake Austin Boat Cruise for my anniversary!
Hey folks! I’m considering gifting my partner a Lake Austin cruise for our anniversary. I love that it’s BYOB, and the idea of cruising at sunset sounds incredible. Has anyone been on this cruise? Any tips on the best time to go or what to bring? I want to make it special!
Just did the Lake Austin boat cruise, and wow!
I just got back from the Lake Austin cruise, and it was amazing! The scenery is unreal, especially the houses on the shore. We did the night cruise and stopped at Ski Shores for drinks. Just a heads up though, parking can be tricky, so plan to get there a little early. Totally worth it!
