Our best value tour. Imagine shelling on islands that are NOT picked over daily by 100's of people. With your naturalist guide, learn about individual shells. This is an excellent "hands-on" experience for the young and old alike. This is not a typical preprogrammed tour. Every day and every tour can be different, so be sure to discuss with your guide the possibilities. This tour is approximately 3.5 hours in duration and departs twice daily at 8:30 and 1:30. Advanced reservations are required. Don't forget your cameras! Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the dolphin & shelling boat tour?

A: There's no strict age limit! Kids of all ages can join, but keep in mind that younger ones might need some extra supervision. They usually have life jackets available for everyone, so it's super safe. It’s a really fun way for families to bond and learn about nature!

Q: What should we wear for the dolphin tour in October? Any tips?

A: I'd recommend light, breathable clothes since it can get warm out there. Don't forget sunblock, and a hat is a good idea too! If you plan to get in the water, bring a swimsuit. Flip-flops are fine, but something more secure is better for the boat.

Q: Can we reschedule the boat tour if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is unsafe for boating. They usually try to notify you as early as possible if there's a cancellation. Just make sure to keep in touch with them, and they’ll help you find a new time that works!

Thinking of gifting the Dolphin & Shelling Tour in Naples! Anyone done it?

Hey everyone! I’m planning to gift the 10,000 Islands Dolphin & Shelling Tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and have never been on a boat tour before. I read that the naturalist guide is awesome at pointing out cool wildlife, which they would really enjoy. Has anyone experienced the tour before? Any tips or things to watch out for?

Can anyone share their experience on the 10,000 Islands Dolphin Tour?

I’m thinking about booking the Dolphin & Shelling tour for my girlfriend’s birthday next month. She loves dolphins and nature. How was the overall experience? Did you get good photos? What wildlife did you see?
