Q&A
A: Yes, the experience is suitable for ages 12 and up. Kids younger than that are welcome, but they may not enjoy the tasting as much since it's pretty focused on the chocolate nuances. It’s a great opportunity for older kids or teens who appreciate sweets and learning about chocolate. Just check with the farm for any specific group size restrictions if you're bringing a lot of young ones!
A: I recommend casual, comfortable clothes since you'll be outdoors and on a farm. Closed-toe shoes are a must, especially if it’s muddy. It can get a bit warm, so maybe wear breathable fabrics. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat if you’re sensitive to the sun. It’s all about enjoying the chocolate without worrying about your outfit!
A: The tasting usually goes on rain or shine since there's a covered area at the orchard. However, if the weather is severe, they will reschedule for safety. They’ll notify you via email if there's any change, so make sure you check your inbox leading up to your visit.

Just did the chocolate tasting at Honoli‘i Orchards—wow!
I just got back from the 10 Bar Hawaiian Craft Chocolate Tasting, and it was incredible! The history lesson was cool, and tasting over ten types of chocolate was a dream come true for a chocoholic like me. Plus, the fresh cacao juice was so delicious! I went with my best friend, and we both learned so much about the chocolate-making process. Definitely recommend this if you're in Hawaii; it’s a must-do!
Considering gifting the chocolate tasting—thoughts?
I’m thinking about buying the chocolate tasting experience as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves chocolate and has never been to Hawaii. Can anyone share how long the experience lasts and if it’s worth the price? Any tips for a first-timer?
