Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this escape room? Can I bring my 13-year-old?

A: Yes, you can bring your 13-year-old! The 13th Basement is designed for teenagers and adults, but they do recommend that all participants be at least 13 years old due to some of the darker themes. Just be prepared for a few creepy moments, but overall it’s more playful than terrifying. Enjoy puzzling together!

Q: Is it easy to reschedule if we can’t make it?

A: Absolutely! Exit Game OC is really flexible with rescheduling. If you give them at least 24 hours notice, you can easily pick another time slot. Just keep an eye on their calendar, as popular times fill up fast!

Q: What should we wear for the escape room? Is it going to be super dark?

A: Comfortable clothes are the way to go! The room isn’t pitch black, but it does have some dim lighting to set the mood. You’ll be doing some moving around, so maybe skip the fancy shoes. Just be ready for some fun surprises along the way!

Just got back from the 13th Basement and WOW!

I just did the 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim with my friends, and it was a blast! We were a group of 5, and the puzzles were challenging but so much fun. The whole vibe was creepy but with an awesome comedic twist. We barely escaped with 2 minutes left! Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to mix some laughs with their scares!

Thinking of gifting the 13th Basement experience!

I want to get this escape room experience for my brother’s birthday. He loves horror movies, and I think he’d get a kick out of the comedic twist! Has anyone done this as a gift? What do you think?
