Q&A
A: Yes, kids can join the helicopter tour! Generally, there's no strict age limit but children should be at least 3 years old. It’s a fantastic experience for families. Just keep in mind that everyone, regardless of age, needs to wear the provided safety gear during the flight.
A: Weather is a big factor for flights! If they have to cancel due to bad weather, they’ll offer you a chance to reschedule at no extra cost. Just keep an eye on the forecast and maybe have a backup plan for your day in Duluth!
A: The helicopter usually fits up to 3 passengers plus the pilot. If you're looking for a private tour, you might need to ask Lake Superior Helicopters directly about availability and costs for a private experience.

Thinking about gifting this helicopter tour to my boyfriend!
I really want to surprise him with the 15-mile aerial helicopter tour over Duluth and Superior. I read about the view of the Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower, which sounds amazing. Has anyone done this before? Any tips on how to make the day special?
Just did the helicopter tour! Here’s my take.
I recently took the 15-mile aerial tour over Duluth, and wow, it was absolutely incredible! Seeing the harbor from the sky was something else. The pilot was super chill and pointed out all the cool spots. Highly recommend it as a gift or for yourself! Just make sure to wear layers because it gets a bit chilly up there.
