Q&A
A: Great question! The kayak camping trip is generally suitable for ages 12 and up, but younger kids can definitely join if they're comfortable paddling. Just keep in mind that they'll need some adult supervision in the kayak. It can be a fun family adventure!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! The tour company is pretty flexible with weather issues, especially considering how unpredictable it can be in the Pacific Northwest. They'll reach out to you if it's not safe to go and help you pick another date that works.
A: Wear layers! It can get chilly on the water, especially in the evenings. Quick-dry clothing is a great choice, and don’t forget a good hat and sunscreen. Also, bring water shoes or sandals that you don’t mind getting wet.

Thinking about gifting the 2-Day Kayak Camping Trip!
Hey everyone! I’m considering this kayak camping trip for my partner's birthday. The idea of paddling around Cypress Island sounds incredible, especially with all the wildlife and trails. It’s listed as fully catered, which is perfect since I’m not great at cooking outdoors! Just wondering if anyone here has done it and what their thoughts are? Any tips or must-sees while we’re there?
Just got back from the Cypress Island kayak trip!
OMG!!! My friends and I just did the kayak camping trip, and it was INCREDIBLE. The guides were super chill and the food was better than I expected. We saw seals and even a bald eagle! The sites were beautiful. I highly recommend it if you're on the fence about gifting this experience!
