Lodging at Chico is on a first come first serve basis, guests are required to book their own lodging under their name and credit card, we are happy to assist in this process. If lodging at Chico Hot Springs is not available at the time of booking, lodging will be arranged by the traveler at any hotel in Gardiner Montana. The two day format allows for a more relaxed pace of the tour, affording travelers more time to enjoy the many wildlife encounters, breathtaking geothermal areas, numerous short hikes and boardwalk excursions throughout the tour.

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's generally recommended for kids ages 8 and up due to the hiking and the length of the tour. They should be able to handle short hikes and enjoy the outdoor experience. The guides are great with kids and make it fun for everyone!

A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly in Yellowstone, even in summer. Good hiking boots are a must, and don’t forget a rain jacket just in case. Casual outdoor gear works fine, just make sure you’re comfy.

Q: How does the lodging work between Chico Hot Springs and Gardiner? Like, what if we can't get into Chico?

A: If Chico Hot Springs is full, you’ll need to book your own place in Gardiner. The tour provider can help you, but you’ll handle the payment. Chico is nice, but Gardiner has some cozy spots too! Definitely check availability early.

I just finished the 2-Day Upper and Lower Loop tour and WOW! So much wildlife and breathtaking views. The lodging at Chico Hot Springs was lovely. The guides were super knowledgeable and made it really fun. I definitely recommend it as a gift!
