Q&A
A: Yes, typically participants need to be at least 10 years old to dive with a parent or guardian. If they're older than 15, they can dive on their own. It's a great experience for families, just make sure everyone is comfortable in the water!
A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit and a rash guard or wetsuit, depending on the season. The water can be a bit chilly at depths, so a wetsuit is a good idea if you're prone to getting cold. Don't forget a towel for after the dive!
A: If the weather is bad or there's a need to cancel, they usually give you options to reschedule your dive. It's best to check with them directly, but they seem pretty flexible about changes as long as you give them a heads up.

Just booked the scuba diving reef excursion in Key Largo!
I'm super excited about the 2 Dive Scuba Diving Reef Excursion at Key Largo Marine Sanctuary! I booked it for my boyfriend's birthday. The idea of diving at two different sites sounds awesome, and I love that they have a restroom and hot showers on the boat. The rental gear is great too since we don’t have our own. Anyone have tips for first-timers?
Advice for gift buying: Scuba diving experience?
So I’m considering getting this scuba diving experience for my sister who loves the ocean. She’s done snorkeling but never diving. I think this Key Largo trip could be perfect! Any thoughts on how beginner-friendly it is and if it's a good gift idea?
