Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old to participate. Younger kids can still join, but they might need an adult to help with the sled handling. Just be sure they’re comfortable around dogs, as it’s a hands-on experience.
A: Dress in layers! It can get cold out there, even if you’re moving around. Wear a good pair of waterproof boots, gloves, and a warm coat. Also, bring sunglasses if it’s sunny; the glare off the snow can be intense!
A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling if the weather turns. Just give them a call as soon as you know you need to change plans. They’ll work with you to find a time that fits, but be sure to check their cancellation policy for more details.

Thinking about gifting the dog mushing experience in Fairbanks!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the 2-Hour Basic Dog Mushing School for my partner’s birthday. He loves dogs and has always wanted to try mushing. I love that this comes with transportation included! Just worried about whether it’ll be super cold in January, though. Anyone has experiences that can help me decide?
Just did the dog mushing class – amazing experience!
I just got back from the 2-hour dog mushing school in Fairbanks and wow, what a rush! Getting to harness the dogs and actually mush was such a blast. The instructors were super friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to bring your camera! The scenery is stunning. Highly recommend this as a gift or just for yourself!
