Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way. The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed. Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available. The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour. This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for this ghost tour in Gatlinburg?

A: There's no strict minimum age, but I'd recommend this for teens and up, especially since it's a night tour and some of the stories can be spooky. Younger kids might not enjoy it as much. Just keep in mind, the tour is about a mile long with plenty of walking, so make sure they're up for it!

Q: What's the parking situation like for the ghost tour?

A: Parking is free for this tour, which is super convenient! Just make sure you get there a bit early to find a spot. The tour ends late, so public transport isn’t an option, but rideshares are available. Just be prepared to call for a ride after the tour.

Q: What should I wear for the ghost tour? Is it cold at night?

A: Definitely layer up! Nights can get chilly in Gatlinburg, especially if you're walking around for two hours. Wear comfortable shoes since it’s all flat pavement, but you'll be on your feet a lot. A light jacket and some cozy socks should do the trick!

Just did the ghost tour in Gatlinburg—and wow!

I went on the ghost and haunt tour last weekend and it was such a cool experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the haunted history of Gatlinburg, and using the ghost-hunting equipment was a highlight. The one-mile walk was easy, and we stopped at some really interesting spots. I didn’t capture any ghosts, but the stories were chilling enough! Definitely recommend it for a spooky night out!

Considering gifting the ghost tour! Any tips?

I'm thinking of gifting the ghost and haunt tour to my sister's family for the holidays. They love spooky stuff, but I'm worried about the kids being scared. Has anyone taken younger ones on this tour? What's the vibe like? Also, any tips on making it special?
