Q&A
A: You need to be at least 21 years old to drive the GoCar, and you'll need a valid driver's license. There's no specific weight limit, but just keep in mind the car's capacity is for two people, so if you're on the larger side, it might feel a bit snug. Also, anyone under 18 can ride as a passenger, but they can't drive.
A: Yes! If the weather is bad, you can reschedule your GoCar tour without any extra fees. Just make sure to contact them at least a couple of hours before your scheduled time. They’ll help you find a new time that works for you. Just keep an eye on the forecast!
A: Dress comfortably! Casual clothes are perfect for driving around. Definitely wear sunscreen since you’ll be out in the open. Sunglasses are a good idea too, especially with the glare from all that beautiful architecture in Balboa Park!

Just did the GoCar tour of Balboa Park and Downtown - Amazing!
I just finished the 2-hour GoCar tour in San Diego, and it was a blast! We stopped at Balboa Park and saw the beautiful Spanish architecture and even toured a museum. The GPS gave us fun facts along the way. Driving the GoCar was so much fun, especially around the Embarcadero. It cost around $75 for the two of us, and I’d totally recommend it as a gift! Perfect for anyone who loves exploring. I can’t wait to do it again!
Thinking of gift ideas for my parents - GoCar tour?
My parents are visiting San Diego soon, and I’m considering getting them the GoCar tour as a gift. They love sightseeing but also enjoy trying new things. Is it suitable for older folks? What tips do you have for making it a fun experience for them?
