Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids? My son is 10, can he join?

A: Yes, kids aged 12 months and older can join the tour! Since your son is 10, he’ll be perfectly fine. Just make sure he’s comfortable on a bike! They provide helmets and everything, so it should be a fun experience for both of you.

Q: What's the best time of year to do this tour? I want to gift it for my parents.

A: I'd recommend spring or fall! The weather is usually mild, plus the cherry blossoms in spring are stunning. Summer can be hot and crowded, while winter is too chilly for biking. Either way, your parents will love it!

Q: What should we wear for this bike tour? Is it casual?

A: Casual attire is totally fine! Just wear something comfortable that you can ride in, like shorts or activewear. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and maybe a light jacket, depending on the weather. It's mostly flat, so it’s not too strenuous!

Just did the Capitol Hill bike tour and it was awesome!

I gifted my sister the 2-hour guided bike tour of Capitol Hill, and she loved it! The guide was super knowledgeable and made history come alive. Riding down Pennsylvania Avenue was a highlight. The views of the Supreme Court and Capitol Building were incredible! Definitely worth it, especially for anyone who loves biking. We went in early June, and the weather was just right. Can’t wait to do it again!

Thinking about gifting this bike tour to my parents, anyone done it?

I’m considering the Capitol Hill bike tour for my folks’ anniversary. They love history and outdoor activities, but neither of them are super fit. Is the ride pretty easy? Also, what’s the length of the tour? Any tips would be awesome!
