Q&A
A: Yes, kids can join as long as they're at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. It's a really family-friendly activity! Just make sure they can handle sitting still in the kayak for a couple of hours. Also, life jackets are provided for all ages!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit or comfortable clothes that can get wet! Water shoes are a good idea too since you’ll be getting in and out of the kayak. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat; the Florida sun can be intense!
A: It really depends on the weather conditions. If it's just light rain, they usually go ahead with the tour. However, if there’s thunder or severe weather, they’ll likely reschedule. Just check their policy when you book!

Thinking about gifting the kayak tour at Gilchrist Blue Spring!
I’m really considering this 2-hour guided kayak tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves being outdoors and I think this would be a great experience. I saw that it includes a clear kayak and snorkeling gear, which sounds pretty cool! Has anyone done this tour? How was the wildlife? Any tips?
Just went on the clear kayak tour and WOW!
I did the 2-hour guided kayak tour at Gilchrist Blue Spring last weekend, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The water is so clear, you can see everything below. The guide was super knowledgeable about the area’s history and we even spotted some cool fish and birds. I highly recommend this for a fun day out!
