Q&A
A: The tour is really aimed at adults due to the themes of violence and death it covers. They generally recommend it for ages 13 and up, so I'd suggest finding a babysitter for your 12-year-old. It might be a bit too intense for younger kids!
A: They usually try to keep the tours running unless the weather is really severe. If they do have to cancel, they’ll let you know ahead of time and reschedule your tour or give a refund. Just make sure to check the weather leading up to your tour date!
A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking around for about 2 hours! Layers are a good idea too, especially if it’s chilly outside. You might also want to bring a flashlight if you have one, just in case! Oh, and don’t forget to check the weather to dress appropriately.

Just did the Helen Haunts tour and I’m still spooked!
I went on the 2-Hour Helen Haunts and History Walk in Blue Ridge last weekend, and wow, it was such a wild experience! The stories about the ghosts and local history were super fascinating, and the chance to check out the basement of the haunted building was just eerie enough to give me chills. I went with my partner and he’s a total skeptic but even he was intrigued! I’d totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves creepy stories or history.
Thinking about the Haunted Walk tour for a birthday gift!
I’m considering gifting the Helen Haunts tour to my brother for his birthday. He loves all things spooky, and I think he’d really enjoy the ghost stories and history! But I’m worried it might be too intense. Anyone know more about the vibe? Also, what’s the best time of year to go?
