A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to paddle comfortably on their own or with an adult. For safety, it's recommended that kids under 12 are accompanied by an adult. Just keep in mind that paddling can be a workout depending on the conditions.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes since you might get splashed! Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, as you’ll be out in the sun. Water shoes can be helpful, and a light layer for the wind could be nice.

I’m looking to surprise my brother with a fun outdoor experience and this kayak or paddleboard trip sounds perfect! I love that it’s in Marina del Rey, because I’ve heard the sea lions are amazing there. Has anyone done this? How’s the wildlife? And is it hard to kayak if you’re a total beginner? So I just got back from the 2-hour paddleboard session in Marina del Rey and I can't recommend it enough! The view of the marina is stunning, and the sea lions were a highlight. I was a bit nervous at first since I’ve never paddleboarded, but the staff were super helpful. Totally worth it!
