Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for riding these mopeds? My nephew's turning 18 soon and I want to gift him this!

A: The minimum age to ride a moped in Hawaii is 18 years old, which is perfect for your nephew! Just make sure he has a valid ID when he goes to pick it up. Also, it’s a good idea to remind him to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for riding.

Q: Is it easy to find parking when you rent the moped? I'm worried about where to leave it while exploring.

A: Finding parking is usually pretty easy when you’re on a moped! Most places in Honolulu have moped parking. Just keep an eye out for designated spots. Make sure to follow any posted signs to avoid tickets. Renting a moped gives you way more flexibility than a car!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad on the day of the rental? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather looks bad! Just call the rental place to let them know. They’re usually pretty understanding about it. Just keep an eye on the forecast and notify them as soon as possible.

Just did the moped rental in Oahu - what a blast!

I just got back from a full day riding a moped around Honolulu, and it was such an amazing experience! The instructor was super friendly and walked me through everything, which was great since it was my first time. We hit up Diamond Head and even made it to Kualoa Ranch. The views were insane! I definitely recommend packing a light jacket because it gets breezy up there. Can't wait to do this again!

Thinking of gifting a moped rental for my friend's birthday!

So I'm thinking about getting my friend a moped rental for her birthday since she loves exploring. I just want to make sure it’s safe and fun. She’s never ridden one before, but I hear they have lessons. Has anyone done this? Would it be good for someone who's a bit nervous?
