Q&A

Q: What do I wear for the morning sail? Is it usually chilly out there?

A: I'd suggest layers! Mornings can be a bit cool on the water, especially with the breeze. A light jacket or sweater should do the trick. It usually warms up as the sun rises, so you can always take it off later. Don't forget non-slip shoes if you're planning to walk around the deck!

Q: How does the rescheduling work if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, Sail San Diego will reach out and help you reschedule. They're pretty flexible and usually give you options for a new date right away. Just keep an eye on your email after booking!

Q: What's the age limit for this experience? Can kids come?

A: The minimum age for drinking is 21, but kids can join as long as they’re accompanied by parents. Just make sure they’re cooled on the boat and aren’t prone to motion sickness. It’s a great way for families to enjoy some time together on the water!

Thinking about booking the morning sail in San Diego!

Hey all! I'm planning to gift my brother and his girlfriend a morning sail in San Diego. I read they leave from America's Cup Harbor, and it sounds amazing! I love that the boat's limited to six guests. I wonder if it's a good pick for a romantic outing? Any tips on what snacks they might enjoy on board?

Anyone else love the morning sail experience?
