Q&A
A: Yes, the tour has a restriction that children under 45 pounds can't participate due to safety regulations. So, if you're planning this for a younger child, you’ll need to check their weight first! It's a great experience for older kids and adults though.
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, since you’ll be on a bumpy ride! A hat and sunscreen are also a must since you'll be in the sun for a couple of hours. Don't forget your camera for those wild horse pics!
A: Yes, if the weather is bad, they’ll reach out to you and offer to reschedule! Just make sure to check their policy when booking. They’re usually pretty flexible, especially during hurricane season.

Just got back from the Wild Horse Tour and it was AMAZING!
I surprised my partner with the 2-hour Outer Banks Wild Horse Tour for our anniversary. We had such a blast! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared some cool history about the horses and the area. We saw 10 wild horses, took tons of pictures, and the views were just stunning. Definitely recommend bringing water and sunscreen! Planning to gift this to my parents next!
Considering the Wild Horse Tour as a gift for my sister’s family!
I really want to get my sister and her kids something special for their trip to the Outer Banks. The Wild Horse Tour seems like a perfect fit! I’m just a bit worried about the weight limit for kids. Her youngest is about 40 pounds. Anyone know if they’re strict on that? I want them to have fun but stay safe!
