Q&A
A: Yes, rescheduling is pretty straightforward. Sweet Escape Charters is really flexible with weather-related cancellations. If the captain thinks it’s not safe to sail, they’ll work with you to find a new date that works for your group. Just make sure to give them a heads-up as soon as you notice any bad weather!
A: No age limits! The catamaran can accommodate kids, and the crew is great with families. Just make sure to bring life jackets for any younger kids if you want them to wear them while on board. They do have some on the boat, but it's a good idea to check ahead if you have specific concerns.
A: The best time is definitely from late fall to early spring (like November to April). The weather is mild, and it’s less humid. Plus, the sunsets are gorgeous this time of year! Summer can get super hot, but if you start in the late afternoon, you might catch a nice breeze.

Just did the afternoon sail, and it was amazing!
So I took my friends on the 2-hour private sail out of St. Pete last weekend, and wow! The 42’ Bali catamaran is super comfy with all the cushioned seating. Our captain was super chill and played our playlist via Bluetooth. We sipped soft drinks while taking in the views of Tampa Bay during golden hour. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it to avoid the crowds! Highly recommend this for a group outing or special occasion. Can’t wait to do it again!
Thinking about gifting this sail experience!
I’m looking at this private afternoon sail for a friend's birthday. It seems like a fun way to celebrate! I love that it’s just for their group. But I’m a little worried about parking by the marina. Is it easy to find a spot? Also, how long in advance should I book?
