Q&A
A: Yes, riders usually need to be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100 and 250 pounds to ride safely. It's a fun experience for families, but younger kids may need to sit this one out. Just be sure to check with Cheyenne Cañon Segways directly as their policies can change.
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothing suited for outdoor activities like shorts or activewear. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and I’d recommend layering since it can get a bit chilly in the canyon. Don’t forget your sunscreen, especially if you’re going on a sunny day!
A: If it rains, they typically allow you to reschedule for another day. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book. They’ll usually contact you if the weather is looking bad, so you're not left wondering. Just have a backup date in mind just in case!

Thinking of gifting the Segway tour for my parents' anniversary!
I’m considering giving my parents the Segway tour in Cheyenne Cañon as an anniversary gift. They love exploring nature and historical places, plus they haven't tried a Segway before! I heard the views are stunning, especially at Seven Falls and the art at Starr Kempf’s. Just a bit worried if they’ll find it hard to ride? Anyone have experience with older folks on these?
Just did the Segway tour and it was amazing!
I did the 2-hour Segway tour in Cheyenne Cañon last week and wow, what a fun experience! The views of the canyon were breathtaking, and gliding past the Broadmoor was just surreal. The guide gave us some neat history about the area too. I was a little nervous at first but got comfortable pretty quickly. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Colorado Springs!
