Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but they do recommend that kids should be at least 5 years old to enjoy the experience. Just keep in mind that everyone must be able to wear a life jacket comfortably. The crew is super accommodating, so feel free to ask them for advice on what might work best for your little ones!
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable swimwear and flip-flops or water shoes. A cover-up is great for when you're not swimming, and definitely pack sunscreen! Don't forget a hat or sunglasses to protect against the sun, especially when you’re out on the water!
A: If the weather looks dicey, they usually call you the day before to discuss options. They’ll try to reschedule for you or provide a full refund if it’s really bad. Just keep an eye on the forecast and maybe have a backup plan for activities in Panama City Beach!

Just went on the Shell Island Power Boat Tour — Amazing Experience!
I just got back from the 2-hour Shell Island Power Boat Tour in Panama City Beach, and I can’t recommend it enough! We went on a private charter and our captain was phenomenal. We got to snorkel and even spotted dolphins! The flexibility of the itinerary meant we could spend extra time where we wanted. For anyone considering it as a gift, I think it’s perfect for families or friends looking for a fun day out on the water.
Looking for a cool gift for my parents — Shell Island Tour?
I’m thinking about getting the Shell Island Power Boat Tour for my parents' anniversary. They've never been on a boat tour before! They love the beach and outdoor stuff, but I’m not sure how they will do with snorkeling. Anyone have thoughts on if it’s beginner-friendly? Also, what’s the best time of year to go?
