Q&A
A: Yes, they recommend kids be at least 12 years old for safety reasons. However, if your child is younger and has some biking experience, it might be worth calling them to see if they can accommodate. They do a great job assessing skill levels, so just communicate your concerns.
A: Light, breathable clothing is best since it can get hot out there! A good pair of biking shorts or leggings works well. Don’t forget closed-toe shoes and maybe a light jacket if it’s early morning or later in the day when it cools off. They provide helmets and gloves, so you don’t need to worry about those.
A: If the weather doesn’t look good, they’ll usually reach out to reschedule or give you options. They want everyone to have a great experience, so it’s best to check in with them if you’re worried. Just make sure to give them a call if you hear rain in the forecast!

Just did the Sonoran Desert Mountain Bike Tour and WOW!
I went on the 2-hour private guided mountain bike tour in Scottsdale last weekend, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences! The guide was super chill and tailored the trails to our skill levels, which was really nice. The scenery is just breathtaking with all the cacti and mountains. Plus, they provided snacks and drinks at the end, which was perfect after sweating it out! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure!
Thinking about gifting the mountain bike tour to my boyfriend!
I found this mountain bike tour in Scottsdale and I think it’s a perfect gift for my outdoorsy boyfriend. He loves biking and I thought the private guide would be awesome for him. Has anyone done this before? I’m just curious about the overall experience and if it’s worth the price (it's free, haha!).
