We have the only private, gently sloping launch area with access to the calm and protected Anahulu River, making it safe and ideal for all levels. Q: Is there an age limit for kids to kayak on the Anahulu river?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but younger kids should definitely be able to sit in the kayak comfortably. They recommend ages 5 and up, and life jackets are provided for all sizes. It’s great for families, and my 7-year-old had a blast! Just make sure they can hold on during the paddling.

Q: What should we wear while kayaking? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear swimsuits, and maybe a rash guard if you're worried about the sun. Water shoes are great too, since you might get wet! I wore flip-flops, but they kept slipping. Bring sunscreen and a hat to stay protected!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our kayak rental?

A: If the weather's really bad, they’re pretty flexible and will let you reschedule. Just call ahead to confirm. It’s usually calm on the river, but safety comes first! We had a slight drizzle but still went out and loved it.
