Noble Jones Architect Tour is an opportunity to walk and learn about Savannah's architecture and the architects behind the buildings. The guest limit is capped at ten people for this tour, giving our guests the opportunity to ask questions and have a more personal experience with our guides. Architecture is the material essence of the city. In just over one century, five men became the soul of the movement to match the beauty of the square design of our city. This tour discusses those architects, their backgrounds and how Savannah came to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This guided walking tour of the historic district includes an examination of the historic homes and buildings from 1817 through 1923. An interpretation of the architect's works and contributions to the city is discussed.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Savannah Architectural Tour?

A: The tour is suitable for all ages, but kids should be able to walk for a couple of hours. It's a great way for them to learn about history in a fun way! Just keep in mind that the tour covers some history that might be more appreciated by older kids and adults. If they're under 10, you might want to prepare them with some fun facts about Savannah's architecture beforehand.

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if plans change?

A: Yes! Noble Jones Tours allows rescheduling, but it's best to give them at least 24 hours notice if you need to change your plans. Just contact them directly, and they’ll help you out. It’s pretty flexible which is nice!

Q: What should I wear for the Savannah Architectural Tour?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must! You’ll be walking around for a couple of hours, and some parts of the tour might be on uneven ground. Dress in layers since it can get warm in Savannah but cooler in the shade. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat if it’s sunny!
