Q&A

Q: Is there a dress code for the dinner cruise, and what should I wear?

A: There's no strict dress code, but it's a nice dinner cruise, so business casual is a safe bet. Most people wear dresses or slacks with nice tops. Since it’s on the water, you might want to bring a light jacket for when the sun goes down. Just keep it comfortable!

Q: How does the boarding process work? Is it really crowded?

A: Yes, the boats can get pretty crowded since they hold several hundred guests. You can board 60 minutes before sailing, so I recommend arriving a bit early to get your tickets and find good seats. The boarding process is pretty straightforward; just swap your voucher for a boarding pass at the ticket office.

Q: What if the weather's bad? Do they cancel the cruise?

A: They typically run the cruise rain or shine unless there's severe weather like a storm. If they do cancel, you can usually reschedule for another date. Just keep an eye on the weather leading up to your cruise and check their site for updates!

Looking to book the Savannah Riverboat Dinner Cruise as a gift!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the Riverboat Dinner Cruise for my parents' anniversary. It sounds like a cool experience with the buffet and live entertainment. Has anyone been on it? Is the food worth it? Any tips on making it special for them?

Anyone know if the cruise is good for kids? Thinking of taking my family!

I’m planning a family trip to Savannah and saw this dinner cruise. I have two kids, ages 8 and 10. Is this something they would enjoy? What’s the atmosphere like for families? Thanks!
