Just keep in mind that younger kids might get restless, but the scenery is beautiful, and they can enjoy spotting wildlife. If you have a toddler, it could be tricky!

Q: What's the best way to get to the boat dock? Is parking easy?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There's a lot right by the dock at 5019 N Capital of Texas Highway, and it’s usually not too crowded, but try to arrive early to secure a spot. Just remember you’ll need to pay that $5 cash entry fee to get into the park, so have that ready. If you're coming during peak seasons, I’d suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early.

Q: Do I need to bring my own cooler, or is there one on the boat?

A: They provide a cooler, which is great! Just keep in mind it doesn't come with ice, so you’ll need to pack that separately. I usually bring some bottled waters and a few snacks to enjoy while cruising. The cooler is a nice touch since you can BYOB and keep drinks chilled!
