Q&A
A: Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old to rent a mini power boat. If you're younger, you can still enjoy it as a passenger, but a legal adult has to take the helm. Make sure to bring a valid ID for the rental!
A: Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet. Swimsuits are great, but definitely bring a rash guard or something to protect against the sun. Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen! It can get pretty hot out there.
A: Yes! If the weather isn't safe for boating, you can definitely reschedule. Just reach out to Riverwalk Boating Company, and they’ll help you find another day that works. Better to be safe than sorry!

Just rented the mini power boat on the Riverwalk – what a blast!
I just did the mini power boat rental at Tampa Riverwalk, and it was amazing! We took the boat up the Hillsborough River and checked out some gorgeous houses along Bayshore Blvd. The staff gave us a solid safety briefing, and everything felt super easy. We even spotted dolphins in the bay! Totally recommend it for a fun day with a friend. $0 for the experience is a steal!
Considering this for a friend’s birthday – any tips?
I’m looking to surprise my best friend with the mini power boat rental at Tampa Riverwalk for her birthday. It sounds like such a unique gift! But I’m a little worried about logistics – how’s parking at the location? Is there anything else we should know before we go?
