Q&A
A: Yes, you need to be 21 or older to participate in the wine tasting. If you're planning to gift this to someone younger, they won't be able to enjoy the wine portion of the tour, but they can still come along for the ride and enjoy the charcuterie. Just be sure to check with the NC Wine Gals if you have any specific concerns!
A: Fall is definitely a great time for the vineyard tour! The leaves change colors and the weather is usually perfect. However, spring is also nice since you can see the vineyards waking up. Just keep in mind that summer can get pretty hot, so bring sunscreen if you go then! You can call the NC Wine Gals to check what’s best for your date.
A: Casual is the way to go! Think comfortable shoes since you might be exploring a bit, and maybe a hat or sunglasses if it’s sunny. You don't want to be too dressed up since it’s a laid-back environment. Also, layers can help because it can get a bit chilly in the evening! Just check the weather before you go.

Thinking of gifting the vineyard tour to my parents! Any thoughts?
My parents love wine but have never been to a vineyard. I found this 2-vineyard tour with the NC Wine Gals in Asheville. It includes a charcuterie board and a glass of wine at Sawyer Springs! What do you all think? Is it a good gift idea? Also, how's the transportation? Do you think they'd enjoy it?
Just got back from the vineyard tour—what a blast!
I just did the vineyard tour with the NC Wine Gals last weekend and it was amazing! The drive was super nice, and the charcuterie board was delicious. Plus, the wine tasting at Stone Ashe was a real highlight. Highly recommend this experience if you're on the fence about it!
