Q&A
A: Yes, you need to be at least 21 years old to rent and drive the GoCar. However, passengers can be younger. Just make sure you’ve got a valid driver's license and your crew is ready for some fun! It's a blast and definitely suitable for families, just be prepared for the winding roads!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get windy and chilly near the Golden Gate, even in summer. A light jacket is a good idea. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you might want to hop out at different spots for pics or views. Sunglasses are a must too!
A: Yes! GoCar Rentals allows you to reschedule if the weather forecast looks grim. Just make sure to contact them at least a day in advance. They’re pretty flexible and want you to have a great experience!

Thinking about gifting the GoCar tour for my dad's birthday!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the 2HR Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Loop GoCar tour for my dad’s birthday. He loves driving and learning about new places, so I think it’ll be perfect! I’m just worried about parking. Is there a good spot near the starting point? Also, any tips on making it extra special?
Just did the GoCar tour and it was AMAZING!
I just got back from the Golden Gate and Lombard Loop GoCar tour and wow, it was such a blast! The GPS-guided tour was super fun, and I loved hearing the stories about the city. We stopped at Lombard Street and got some great pics. Just make sure to bring a jacket since it was windy near the bridge. Totally recommend it as a gift for anyone visiting SF! My friend loved it.
