Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the e-bike tour at Airlie Gardens?

A: Yes, the e-bike tour is suitable for participants aged 16 and up. Riders under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. If you're considering it for a younger teen, just make sure they feel comfortable riding an e-bike on their own, since it's a self-guided tour.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can definitely reschedule your tour. Just reach out to EZ Electric Bike Rentals at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding another day that works for you.

Q: What should we wear for the bike tour and are there any specific requirements?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes since you’ll be biking for a while. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses, especially if it’s sunny. The helmets are provided, so you don’t need to worry about that part.

Just did the E-Bike Tour at Airlie Gardens!

I just got back from the Wilmington E-Bike tour and it was amazing! The bike path along the River to Sea was super scenic, and Airlie Gardens is even more beautiful in person. The e-bikes were easy to ride, but I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who hasn’t biked before. We had a blast! Definitely a great gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.

Considering gifting the E-Bike Tour—thoughts?

I’m thinking about gifting the Wilmington E-Bike tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love being outdoors, but neither of them has much experience biking. Do you think they’d enjoy it? How’s the route? I want it to be special!
