Q&A
A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be getting out at various stops like the Lincoln Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. There is some walking, but your guide will let you know how much to expect at each location. Dress for the weather too, especially if it's hot or rainy!
A: Kids can definitely join! There’s no strict minimum age, but it’s great for families since you can customize the experience. Just keep in mind that if you have younger kids, there may be some walking involved, and you might want to bring snacks and drinks.
A: Yes, the tour can be rescheduled if the weather's bad! Just reach out to the provider as soon as possible. They’re pretty flexible and want to make sure you have the best experience. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Thinking about booking the Private DC Highlight Tour for my parents’ anniversary!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the 3-4 hour Private DC Highlight Tour by van for my parents as a gift for their anniversary. They love history and haven’t done a guided tour yet. I love that it’s private, so they won’t have to deal with crowds. Has anyone done this? How was the guide? Any recommendations on how to make it special?
Just got back from the DC Highlight Tour with friends—so worth it!
Just finished the 3-4 hour private DC Highlight Tour and it was amazing! Our guide was so engaging and shared a ton of cool stories about each memorial. We had a group of 5, and it felt so personal! The van was comfy too. If you’re on the fence about booking it, do it! Perfect way to see the city without the craziness of a big tour group.
