Q&A
A: In June, it can get pretty hot in Monument Valley, so I’d recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing. But mornings can be cooler, so layering is smart! A good pair of hiking boots is also a must since you might be walking on uneven surfaces. Don Mose often suggests bringing a hat and sunscreen too since the sun can be intense out there.
A: Kids are absolutely welcome on the tour! Don Moses loves sharing stories with families and younger visitors. Just keep in mind that some of the terrain could be a bit challenging for younger children, so it might be best to check in with the guide if you're unsure. Overall, it can be a magical experience for kids over 5.
A: The Monument Valley tours are quite weather-dependent, and if the rain is heavy, they might be canceled for safety reasons. However, Don is experienced and will do his best to adjust the tour if possible. It’s always a good idea to check the weather before you go, and they’ll contact you if there are any changes.

Just got back from the Monument Valley tour with Don Mose!
Wow, what an experience! The 3.5-hour private tour was absolutely worth it. Don is such an incredible storyteller and took us to spots off the beaten path that I doubt you'd find on your own. We got to see some amazing rock arches and hear his beautiful songs echoing through the valley. Definitely bring a camera! I highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature or history.
Thinking of gifting the Monument Valley tour to my partner!
Hey everyone! So I found this Monument Valley tour led by Don Mose, and it seems super cool. I’m just curious if anyone has done it and what they thought? It’s for my partner, and they love photography and culture, so this feels perfect. Just looking for any tips!
