Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are definitely welcome on this tour! There's no specific age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 8 and up, as the tour includes some long days and the snow conditions can be challenging. Just make sure they’re dressed warmly and can handle the cold. It’s a fantastic experience for families!

Q: If I book this, how easy is it to reschedule if something comes up?

A: Nomad Unlimited Adventure is pretty flexible with rescheduling! They usually allow changes up to a week before your scheduled tour. Just give them a call or an email, and they’ll help you out. It’s always good to check their specific cancellation policy as well.

Q: What should I wear for this winter tour? Is it super cold?

A: Dress in layers! It can get really cold in Yellowstone during winter, especially with wind chill. I recommend thermal base layers, a good insulated jacket, waterproof gloves, and sturdy boots. Don't forget a warm hat and scarf too! Being comfortable is key to fully enjoying the experience.

Just booked the Yellowstone Winter Discovery Tour!

I’m so excited! I booked this 3-day tour for my partner's birthday, and I can’t wait to see Old Faithful in the snow! The snow coach sounds awesome, and I’m really looking forward to the hot springs. Just hope the weather cooperates. Anyone here done this tour? What should we expect?

Anyone else love the snowshoeing aspect of this tour?

I did this tour last year, and the snowshoeing was my favorite part! It's such a unique way to explore the park. We had incredible views and saw so many animals. Just be prepared for some workout. Would definitely recommend it for anyone who loves the outdoors!
