Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this safari tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but the tour is more suitable for kids aged 5 and up. The walking portions can be a bit much for younger ones, plus they need to sit in their own seat in the safari vehicle. Just keep in mind that they’ll have to be able to handle the walking and some bumps along the road!

Q: What should we wear for the Grand Canyon safari? Any tips on clothing?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, but it'll warm up while you're out. Sturdy shoes are a must for the walking portions, and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses. Also, it’s a good idea to check the weather since it can change fast in the Grand Canyon area.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up and we can’t make the original booking?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just let them know as soon as possible, and they’ll work with you to find another time. It’s best to give at least 24 hours notice if you can. They’re pretty flexible, which is great!

Just did the back-road safari at the Grand Canyon - AMAZING!

I went on the 3-hour back-road safari last month with my family, and it was such a blast! The tour guide was super knowledgeable and we saw so many elk and some cool birds. The panoramic views were jaw-dropping at Yavapai Point! The walking parts were easy enough for my kids, and the vehicle was really comfy. Totally worth it!

Considering this Grand Canyon safari as a gift - thoughts?

I want to gift my parents the 3-hour safari, especially since they love nature. I’m wondering if it’s suitable for older folks since my dad has some mobility issues. Are the walking segments manageable for someone who’s not super fit?
