Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this boat ride experience?

A: There aren't any specific age restrictions for the boat ride. It's suitable for all ages, but I recommend checking with the provider if you're planning on bringing very young children just to make sure they have the proper safety gear. The captain is great with kids and can even tailor the excursion to include kid-friendly activities!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather isn't great?

A: Yes, rescheduling is possible! If the weather looks bad, just reach out to Charleston Sailing Charters, and they'll work with you to find another date that works. They’re pretty flexible, especially since they want everyone to have a great experience.

Q: What should we bring for the beach excursion part?

A: Definitely bring sunscreen, beach towels if you want your own, and maybe a hat! The captain provides some things like coolers and chairs, but if you want extra comfort, I'd suggest bringing your own beach chairs and snacks. Also, don’t forget your camera for those shark teeth and shells!

Just got back from the Private Afternoon Boat Ride!

OMG, this experience was amazing! We had such a blast cruising through Charleston harbor. The captain was super chill and took us to some awesome beaches where we found shark teeth and shells! It was so cool to finally find a Megalodon tooth! We brought some snacks and drinks, but the cooler they provided was perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day out!

Thinking of gifting the boat ride experience! Any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I'm considering this private boat ride for my parents’ anniversary. They love the beach and Charleston. Is it really worth it? How's the overall vibe? Like, are the captains friendly? I want them to have a great time!
