Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the kiteboarding lesson?

A: Great question! There aren't strict age limits, but generally, kids around 10 and up tend to be able to handle the lessons well. Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. The instructors are great at adapting to different skill levels and ages!

Q: What should we wear for the kiteboarding lesson? Will we get wet?

A: You'll definitely want to wear a swimsuit, as you will get wet! I recommend a rash guard or a lightweight long-sleeve top for sun protection. Water shoes are also a good idea since the sand can get hot. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen, too!

Q: Can this experience be rescheduled if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather conditions aren't safe for kiteboarding. They’ll reach out to you in case of cancellations due to weather, and you can pick a new date that works for you. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just booked a private kiteboarding lesson in Miami! Any tips?

I just booked the 3-hour kiteboarding lesson at the sandbar in Biscayne Bay! I'm super excited but also a bit nervous since I’ve never tried this before. I’ve heard the instructors are really good, but I’d love to know if anyone has tips on what else to bring or expect from the day. I want to make the most out of this experience!

Thinking of gifting the kiteboarding lesson. Is it worth it?

I’m considering getting my brother a private kiteboarding lesson in Miami for his birthday. I read that the conditions are incredible and the instructors are IKO certified. Has anyone done this before? Is it worth the price and the time? He loves water sports, so I think he’d have a blast!
