Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour, but it’s recommended for kids ages 5 and up. Younger kids might get bored, but the guides are awesome at keeping things engaging. Families have said kids loved hearing the stories and saw some incredible rock art! Just keep in mind some hiking might be involved, so plan for that.
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, but it warms up quickly. Sturdy shoes are a must since some areas can be rocky. Sunscreen and a hat are also good ideas, especially if you’re going during the day. And don’t forget to bring a water bottle!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule as long as you give them a heads up. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a great experience! Just check their policy on the website or give them a call to confirm. It’s good to have some options in case of weather too.

Thinking about gifting the private tour at Canyon De Chelly!
I’m considering giving this private tour as a gift for my dad’s birthday. He loves history and the outdoors, and I think he’d be fascinated by the Navajo stories and rock art. Has anyone done this tour? Is it worth it? What were the highlights for you?
Just got back from the Canyon De Chelly tour — wow!
I just finished the 3-hour private tour with Beauty Way Jeep Tours and it was incredible! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the Navajo culture and the canyon's history. Getting to see the rock art was a highlight for sure. It felt super personal and intimate since it was just my friend and I. Highly recommend it!
