Q&A
A: There aren't strict age limits for the SHERP tour, but they recommend kids be at least 12 years or older to fully enjoy the experience. Since the terrain can be rocky and bumpy, it's better suited for older teens and adults. Just check with the provider for specific guidelines before booking!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can definitely reschedule! They typically have a flexible policy since safety is a priority. Just reach out to them at least 24 hours in advance to make arrangements. It’s good to keep an eye on forecasts too!
A: Dress in layers! The weather can change quickly in Denali, so I'd recommend a light jacket, closed-toe shoes, and definitely some bug spray. They offer noise-cancelling headsets, so you won’t need to worry about that. Just be ready for some bumps and a wild ride!

Thinking about giving the SHERP tour as a gift - worth it?
Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the 3 Hour SHERP tour at Denali Fat Truck Tours to my brother who loves the outdoors. I heard it’s really cool to explore the Alaska wilderness in those Fat Trucks. Do you think it’s a good experience for someone who’s not super into extreme stuff? Any tips?
Just did the SHERP tour! Here's my review!
OMG, I just got back from the 3 Hour SHERP tour and it was amazing! The views of Denali were unreal, and the guide was super knowledgeable about the area. The Fat Truck was comfy and the noise-cancelling headsets made it easy to hear everything. Definitely wear layers because it gets chilly! Can't wait to do it again.
