As the leaders in the industry we feel it is our duty to have all our tours conducted by professionals. Our Manatee snorkel tours are guided by USCG Captain as well as a licensed and insured dive professional. Our in water professionals are trained as first responders, with First aid, CPR, AED administration and in-water rescue training. Captain and guides are also trained in manatee manners, through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The training allows us to lead the industry by operating the saftest tours on the water for our guest and manatees alike.

Q: Are there any age limits for the manatee swim tour? I wanna take my kids!

A: Yes, kids can join the tour! Generally, they need to be at least 6 years old. It's a fantastic family-friendly experience, but check with the provider for any specific requirements. They also have safety gear sized for younger swimmers, so your kids will be good to go!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day we booked? Can we reschedule?

A: Totally understandable! If the weather conditions are unsafe (like storms), the tour will be rescheduled. Just give them a call or check your booking details. They’re pretty flexible, so don’t worry too much about it.

Q: What should we wear for the manatee swim? Is it cold in the water?

A: You’ll get a wetsuit included, which keeps you warm! Just wear your swimsuit underneath. I'd recommend bringing a towel and maybe some water shoes if you prefer them. The water's usually pretty warm in Crystal River, but the suit helps if it’s a bit chilly.
