Q&A
A: Great question! It can get pretty wet on the Maid of the Mist, so I'd recommend wearing a quick-drying outfit and bringing a light rain jacket if you have one. They do provide ponchos, but I've found they can be a bit flimsy. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around a lot, too!
A: No age limits that I'm aware of! Families often bring young kids along for this trip. Just keep in mind the boat ride might be a bit loud for smaller children. The hotels and activities are family-friendly, so it should be a fun experience for all!
A: Parking can be a bit tricky in DC, but there's usually paid street parking available near the pickup point. Just make sure to check the signs for restrictions. Alternatively, using public transport like the Metro is an easy way to get there!

Just booked the DC to Niagara Falls tour! Any tips?
I'm so excited! Just booked the 4-Day All American tour from DC to Niagara Falls. I've heard the Maid of the Mist boat ride is a must-do, and I can't wait to see the falls lit up at night! Anyone have recommendations on what to do on the free day? I'm thinking about checking out Clifton Hill, but is it worth it? Also, what’s the weather usually like in late September?
My experience on the DC to Niagara tour!
I just got back from the 4-Day All American tour and wow, what an experience! The bus was super comfortable, and having WiFi was a great bonus! The highlights for me were definitely the Maid of the Mist and the fireworks over the falls. Breathtaking! Our guide was fantastic too. If you’re considering this as a gift, I’d say go for it! Just remember to bring a light jacket for the boat ride; you’ll need it!
