Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids can definitely join this tour! Canyon Ministries welcomes families, so it’s a great experience for all ages. Just keep in mind that younger ones might need a bit of extra attention, especially with the walking between stops. It's also a good idea to check with the guide about pace and any specific needs your kids might have.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Will they cancel the tour?

A: If there are severe weather conditions, the tour may be canceled for safety reasons. However, light rain or mild conditions usually don't cancel the tour as long as it's safe. They’ll typically let you know ahead of time and help you reschedule if needed. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your tour date approaches!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Any recommendations?

A: Dress comfortably! Layers are key since it can be warm during the day but gets cooler as the sun sets. Sturdy shoes are a must for walking around the rim. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially if you're there in summer. They provide blankets, but you might want to bring an extra layer just in case!

Just booked the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour! Any tips?

I’m taking my dad on this 4-hour Biblical Creation + Sunset Tour at the Grand Canyon next month. He’s really into geology and the Bible, so I think he’ll love it! I’m curious if anyone has done this recently and what to expect. How is it going with the guide? Any must-see stops?

Anyone done the Grand Canyon Biblical Creation Tour?

I’m thinking about getting this as a gift for my sister and her family. I heard they can customize the experience based on interests. Is that true? What’s the group size like? Trying to make sure it’s worth it!
