Your Fort Lauderdale Reef Fishing Charter starts off with a 10-12min cruise out to the inlet, passing through "Millionares Row", where you'll see some of the most extravagant houses and yachts in the world. The mates will come around and get everyone baited and hooked up with gear and offer advice on how to get bites. We'll usually have time to fish a few different spots (wrecks, reefs, different depths & zones). When it's time to come in, we'll return through the inlet where you'll have a chance to take some pictures with the fish. Upon return to the dock the mates bring all the fish to the cleaning table where they will do free fish cleaning and recommend some good restaurants that will cook your fish for you. This is a great trip to go out and try some deep sea fishing, enjoy beautiful views of the coast and have some luck catching some good eating fish. You will be fishing for snapper, grouper, grunts, porgies and other small game fish.

Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the fishing charter? Is there a dress code?

A: You want to keep it casual, so light clothing is best. A t-shirt and shorts are perfect, but definitely bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Flip-flops or water shoes work too, just be prepared for a bit of splashing! If you're going at night, maybe bring a light jacket since it can get a little cooler out on the water.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if the weather isn't suitable for fishing. They’ll typically contact you ahead of time if there's a cancellation. Just make sure you give them a call as soon as possible to find a new date that works for you.

Q: Is this charter good for kids? What age is appropriate?

A: Absolutely! This fishing charter is kid-friendly, and kids of all ages can participate. Just keep an eye on younger ones since it can get a bit rocky at times. They’ll have a great time fishing and seeing the sights on the way out, especially passing by the mansions on Millionaire's Row.

Just booked the 4-hour fishing charter in Fort Lauderdale!

Hey everyone! I just booked this fishing charter for my boyfriend's birthday. We’re going to try out the night-time option. I’m super excited to cruise by Millionaire’s Row and hopefully catch some snapper! Anyone been on this? What’s it like? Any tips?

Anyone else had a blast on the Fort Lauderdale Reef Fishing?

I went on this fishing charter last month and it was AMAZING! We caught some huge grouper and the crew was super friendly. The fish cleaning was a nice perk too. They even recommended a local spot to cook our catch. Totally worth it!
