A local guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous Somes Sound and Asticou Gardens! We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands. See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges & Carriage House, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. See Sand Beach surrounded by the famous pink granite coastline. We will continue out of the park to see the summer colony of Northeast Harbor and stroll through the famous Asticou Gardens. See gorgeous harbors, yachts and picnic boats. We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour, or can kids join?

A: Kids are absolutely welcome on this tour! It’s a great family experience. Just be sure to bring some snacks and maybe a jacket, as it can get chilly on Cadillac Mountain. They’ll love the views and Asticou Gardens is perfect for little ones to explore!

Q: What should we wear for the Cadillac Mountain portion? Is it cold up there?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get pretty windy and chilly on the summit. A light jacket or hoodie is a good idea even in summer. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you might want to explore a bit. Enjoy the hike, it's totally worth it!

Q: How does parking work if we're driving ourselves to the start point?

A: If you're driving, you'll find parking at the designated pick-up point in Bar Harbor, which is easy to locate. Just arrive a little early to grab a spot. The tour also includes transportation, so you won’t need to worry about parking while you're in the park!

Wow, I just got back from the Elite & Exclusive Acadia tour and it was incredible! The guide was friendly and showed us all the best spots, including the famous Thunder Hole and Sand Beach. The views from Cadillac Mountain are to die for. Highly recommend it as a gift or for yourself!
