Ditch the concrete and crowds for an unparalleled escape to Keewaydin Island, a pristine slice of paradise only reachable by boat, making it a truly exclusive experience you simply can't replicate elsewhere. Immerse yourself in authentic Old Florida charm, renowned for its abundant shelling, tranquil waters perfect for swimming, and the blissful absence of cars, ensuring a day of genuine tranquility. There are food boats that sell everything from hamburgers, hot dogs to ice cream. For this tour, you must be mobile, the island is not wheelchair accessible. There is a bathroom onboard. Do the size and configuration of the vessel, it is not handicap accessible. It requires full mobility to access. Please keep this mind when booking. As with all marine toilets, the use of toilet paper must be very limited (they clog easily - flush multiple times if necessary). Under no circumstances should anything other than human waste and marine (single ply) toilet paper be flushed down the toilet.

Q&A

Q: Is there any age limit for kids on the Keewaydin Island tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit, but kids need to be able to manage the boat ride and the island's terrain. Many families take their kids, but just make sure they're comfortable with being out on the water and can walk around a bit once you land. It’s a great experience for kids who love nature and the beach!

Q: What should I wear for the beach tour? Is it going to be super hot?

A: Light, breathable clothing is key! A swimsuit is a must if you want to swim, and don’t forget sandals or water shoes since it’s sandy. Also, a hat and sunglasses will help protect you from the sun. And yeah, it can get hot, so stay hydrated and put on sunscreen before you go!

Q: Is there parking near the departure point in Naples?

A: Yes! There's a public parking area near the launch site, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. I’d recommend getting there a bit early to secure a spot. It's pretty straightforward, just look for the Naples Waterway and Wildlife Tours sign. You should be good!

Just got back from the Keewaydin Island tour – what an escape!

I went on the 4 Hour Keewaydin Island Beach Tour last weekend, and wow, it was everything I hoped for! The boat ride was so relaxing, and once we hit the island, I felt like I was in a postcard. The shelling was amazing – I found some beautiful conch shells! Make sure to grab a burger from the food boat too; it was surprisingly good. Just a heads up, the bathroom situation on the boat is a bit tight, so plan accordingly. Totally worth it!

Considering gifting the Keewaydin Island tour to my parents!

I’m thinking about getting my parents the Keewaydin Island tour for their anniversary. They love the beach but haven’t done anything like this before. Is the tour easy for older folks? They can walk but might need breaks. Also, how was the experience overall? Any tips?
