Our private tours are guided by knowledgable USCG licensed captains who have background in Marine biology and environmental science. We take you through some of the most unique mangrove islands and channels in search for all the native wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, crocodiles, nesting birds, and more. Our boats are equipped to go places other boats are not, such as the no combustion zones. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go on this ecotour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but younger kids should be comfortable in the water and wearing a life jacket. The captains are very patient and accommodating, which is great for families. Just make sure to check with them ahead of time if you have very young kids, as they can give you the best advice based on your family’s needs!

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling part? Anything specific?

A: Definitely wear swimwear, but consider a rash guard to protect your skin from the sun and any potential scrapes while snorkeling. Water shoes can also be a good idea since you’ll be stepping on the boat and maybe some rocky areas. Don’t forget a hat and some good sunscreen!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they cancel?

A: Yes, they prioritize safety first, so if the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll cancel or reschedule. You can usually expect to get a full refund or a chance to book another day. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast before your trip!

Just booked the private ecotour and snorkeling tour in Islamorada!

I'm so excited! We’re heading out next month! I heard the captains are super knowledgeable about the wildlife and the mangroves. Plus, I've been dying to snorkel in those clear waters! I’m wondering if anyone has tips on what to expect? Should we bring snacks or anything?

Thinking about gifting the ecotour to my parents!

My folks are big into nature and wildlife, and I think this would be an amazing experience for them! The fact that it's a private tour is perfect since they like their peace. Has anyone done this with older adults? How was the snorkeling for them?
